Etwas überraschend hat Apple ein iOS Update veröffentlicht.
iOS 6.1.4 bringt als einzige Verbesserung ein Aktualisiertes Audioprofil für die Freisprechfunktion.
Was genau das heisst wird sich zeigen. Das Update ist auf dem iPhone 5 nur 11.5 MB gross. Sobald mehr Infos vorliegen werde ich den Post hier aktualisieren.

Apple hat gestern Abend OS X 10.8.3 veröffentlicht.
Gemessen an der Zahl der Vorabversionen müsste OS X 10.8.3 beinahe ein neues Betriebssystem sein. Ganze 13 Entwickler-Versionen hat Apple rausgehauen bevor nun das finale Update für alle bereit liegt.

Apple hat soeben iOS 6.1.2 veröffentlicht.
Das nur 13 MB grosse Update behebt den Fehler mit Microsoft Exchange Servern, bei welchem die Server mit massiver Datenlast zu kämpfen hatten.
iOS 6.1.2 kommt mit der Build Nummer 10B146 für iPhone und iPod Touch, sowie die älteren iPad Versionen. Das iPad Mini WiFi & Celular sowie das aktuellste iPad 4 kommt mit Build 10B147.
Vor kurzer Zeit hat Apple iOS 6.1 veröffentlicht, und seid da klagen viele Nutzer über Verbindungsprobleme.
Vor allem das iPhone 4S scheint teilweise massive Probleme mit dem UMTS Netz zu haben. Genau dagegen hat Apple gestern Abend iOS 6.1.1 veröffentlicht.
Das Update ist nur für das iPhone 4S gedacht und kann entweder direkt via OTA (OverTheAir) auf dem iPhone oder vis iTunes geladen werden.
Anlässlich der Veröffentlichung der Quartahlszahlen gab Apple Boss Tim Cook bekannt, dass nächste Woche 34 weitere Länder mit dem iPhone 5 mittels LTE surfen können.
Die Schweiz sei ebenfalls darunter. Anfang Dezember hat die Swisscom als erster Schweizer Mobilfunkprovider LTE in 26 Städten gestartet.
Bisher gibt es nur wenige Smartphones welche LTE unterstützen. Das iPhone 5 ist zwar grundsätzlich LTE-fähig, diese Funktion muss aber erst durch ein Software Update freigeschaltet werden, was bisher bei uns noch nicht geschah. Daher kann das iPhone 5 bisher bei uns kein LTE nutzen.
Genau dieses Update soll also nun in einer Woche bereit stehen. Die Swisscom konnte bisher den Termin noch nicht bestätigen, es wäre aber nicht verwunderlich wenn sie von Apple noch gar nicht informiert wurde.
Ich habe LTE in der Schweiz bereits getestet. Mit einem Nokia Lumia 920 kam ich auf Download Raten von rund 38 MBit/s. Der Upload Speed betrug jeweils um die 16 MBit/s. (via Macprime)

Das Update steht nur für das iPhone 5 sowie das iPad Mini zur Verfügung und behebt einen Fehler bei welchem der WLAN Empfang plötzlich wegblieb:

Das Update kommt via OTA (OverTheAir) auf euer Gerät, kann aber natürlich auch vis iTunes installiert werden.

Google hat heute damit begonnen ein Update auf seine Nexus Geräte zu pushen.
Android 4.2.1 behebt einen peinlichen Fehler im neuen Google OS. Wer bei einem Kontakt einen Geburtstag eintragen wollte, konnte das nicht für Dezember tun. Der Monat fehlte im Kalender dort.
Wer ein Nexus 4 Smartphone oder ein Nexus 10 Tablet sein eigen nennt, kann das Update bereits laden:
Auf dem Galaxy Nexus sowie dem Nexus 7 Tablet dürfte Android 4.2.1 ebenfalls bald ankommen.

Am Donnerstag Abend hat Apple das erste Update für iOS 6 veröffentlicht.
iOS 6.01 bringt einige Fehlerbehebungen mit welchen sich vor allem Benutzer des iPhone 5 rumschlagen mussten:

iOS 6.01 kann auf allen Geräten wie immer via OTA (Over the Air) Update geladen werden. Beim iPhone 5 wird dazu jedoch ein Trick angewendet. Da ein Fehler in iOS 6 solche OTA Update bisher verhinderte wird zuerst eine eigene Update App auf dem iPhone 5 installiert
Diese App findet sich dann auf dem Homescreen womit das eigentliche Update auf iOS 6.01 gestartet werden kann:
Nach dem Update wird die App automatisch gelöscht. Wer mag kann das Update auf iOS 6.01 natürlich auch mit iTunes machen wo das ganze ohne Zusatz-App durchgeführt wird.

Nicht nur die iOS Benutzer kommen heute mit Version 6 auf ihre Kosten, auch für OS X Montain Lion gibts ein Update.
OS X 10.8.2 bringt einige spannende neue Funktionen mit. So wird die bisher fehlende Facebook Integration nachgereicht, Power Nap funktioniert auch auf älteren Mac Book Airs und das Game Center bringt einige neue Features mit.
Die Akkulaufzeit auf mobilen Macs wurde noch mal verbessert. Das komplette Changelog gibts bei Apple:

Alles in allem ein lohnendes Update welches OS X Mountain Lion noch praktischer macht. Schmeisst am besten gleich die Softwareaktualisierung an.

Das Update soll auch die Batterieprobleme der MacBook Pro und MacBook Air beheben. Das Update ist nur wenige MB gross und kann wie immer über die Softwareaktualisierung oder direkt bei Apple geladen werden.
